Part of my Whispers of Resilience three-painting mini series, The Wanderer is one of the most personal pieces I have ever created.
This painting is a tribute to my best friend, a farm owner whose resilience and unwavering dedication to her dreams continue to inspire me. The horse symbolizes her strength, determination, and free spirit, while the rose reflects the kindness, beauty, and grace she carried throughout her life.
Though born from a deeply personal loss, this painting reaches beyond my own story. It is a reminder that resilience is not only found in enduring hardship, but also in having the courage to keep dreaming, to keep loving, and to keep moving forward.
Every painting begins with my story, but it is completed by the person who stands before it. Whatever The Wanderer awakens in you becomes part of its journey.
